    Re: Letter from Motormile, help and advice needed

    Hi all. Sorry to bring up an old thread but i am just wondering if any of you resolved your issues with MMF and how did you do it?

    I have sent them 8 emails in total and have received not one reply. I have not contacted them by post as of yet and i have not replied to any of their calls text. The most recent threat ive had off them is by email and voicemail off the famous 'Mike'. This is the very formal e-mail I received 2 days ago;

    'This is notice I will arrive unannounced within 4 days. Mike – MMF Agent. Call the office if you wish to make an appointment 0800 9961103. Ref:M1043133'

    I have expressed my opinion on a home visit telling them they were breaching the OFT guidelines if they were to do so without my willing etc etc.

    Has anyone received this e-mail and whats the chances that someone will show up this week? I know it is probably a threat but cant help to worry that someone will turn up when family are there. it wont go down well.

    Any advice and id be grateful. Thank You

        Have you sent the no doorstep visit letter to them.
        Emails are barry@mmile.com neil@mmile.com ascent@mmile.com

        Barry is barry Ellershaw, Neil is neil petty one of the owners

        They will try to tell you that the law doesn't apply to them.
        If they turn up just tell them to go away or you will call the police

          i received the complete range of threats from Mike at Motormouth including ones that he would turn up at my work and that the matter was now in the hands of their so called legal department. That was a few months ago and they have gone quiet. I didnt even acknowledge the buggers once and they have disappeared.

            That's interesting.

            Did he mean that, until then, the matter was in the hands of their illegal department?

              LOL I just came across some more of the crap that they send me. Their threats get nastier by the letter. I presume each one is designed to ramp up the pressure on the vulnerable. Their telephone threats are equally nasty but then again everything is like their heads EMPTY. The threats start off from letter one unlike some of the other pond life who try the nice guy we want to help approach. Whoever designed Motormouths Business Model needs taken out and given a good kicking.
