I dearly wish lowell will make me banrupt that way i can right off all my debts 60k plus if ai get a SD from them ill send them a letter saying please a thousand times i think they wont i got no assets no income apart from carers allowance

You and Jon are in the same position, where you would like to receive a SD so the creditor takes care of the BR fees, which is why I said the following on my post above. From what I have seen on various forums, people who ignore Lowell are often the ones who end up receiving a SD so there's a thought...

There are also quite a few threads referring to Statutory Demands issued by Lowell, so it's probably best to respond rather than ignore, unless you want to be made bankrupt. Lowell are often serious and proceed to petition, see below.

Just a nosy question:- Can Lowell/a n other company make you backrupt if you do not work and have no assets?

Like a prat I told Lowells that it was UE (not exactly true but hey ho...well so my lord and master told me). I think I will have to ignore all letters now from Lowell which is hard as I like the last word

My personal belief/experience is that Lowell examine your credit reference files and make up their own mind whether it is worth them doing a SD. Eg. are you up to date with your mortgage payments - if you have one, do you have car finance, etc ,etc. They are sneaky buggers who sail very close to the wind!

Well with me it was because i had an email from QQ saying that my account balance was 0 and they had not sold my account and with MEM it was because I took a complaint to the Fos

not really much help, it was a debt that was paid years ago, lowell kept hounding for it, so took moneyshop to fos got £235 quid compo, taking lowell to fos next xx

I didn't know Lowell bought payday loan debts, I thought they were higher up the ladder!
