What F&Fs are you referring to? If the debts have been sold to Lowell, the would have been written off by the original lender and assigned in absolute to Lowlifes, so any agreement to accept a F&F should be from them who own the account. Would be useful to have more details about these debts, you say one has already been paid, why would you offer F&F on something that has been paid?

If the Banned Club is for everyone who's been banned OTR, then it can't be very exclusive can it?

OTR stands for 'Over The Road', meaning CAG, where many people here started out before deciding to up stumps, often because they fell out with one of the Moderators and got banned. :banplease:

SD = Statutory Demand, which is a particularly nasty trick played often by Lowell where they threaten to make you bankrupt unless you pay them.

They make a lot of money by hounding people into paying them,or by buying up written-off debts for about 5% of the face value then trying to collect the lot. They only have a to get a few people to pay and they can afford to write off the harder ones to collect and to pay for ridiculous amounts of letters and phone calls.

There's more than one 'home' over the road and a lot of reasons to get banned, CAG is one of them virtual 'homes' and also where I started out, got in 2011 without falling out with anyone, it was for referring people to another site where, at the time, I thought they'd get better help with their particular issues. Got from that one a year later, after site admin read my PMs to a fellow member and obviously didn't think much of the contents. There are quiet bans and loud BANgs, with a marching BANd!

Hi bluestar83, you're right lowell's are a joke but just be careful they don't issue you with a SD as they seem to be doing more often recently. Should they do so then be sure to come back here for help.

Sadly I'm not in the banned club from otr but after they let Lowell Group register on there to ''help'' their ''customers'' to pay what they owe was the final straw for me, then I found this site and never looked back.
