Black market pens are semi-transparent and you can often see the details behind the pen. It's best just to cover up the bits with a piece of paper or else use your photo editing software to erase the writing before posting up :typing:

Fair enough :yo: in that case the CCA would be sent just for the 2 credit cards.

Re: Hello, been reading loads but still unsure.

I am struggling, managed to get the contract in my computer as a pdf but when I tried to upload to put it on here, it said the file was too big it's only 8mb How big am I allowed, it says 4gb do you think it may mean 4mb?

But more interesting is the fact that NRAM are in the process of paying £270 million in compensation to borrowers for overcharged interest on masses of their personal loans and yours could be one. Read this and then post back later if you think it may apply to you:
I received a letter today from Marlin, I'm assuming now would be the time to send the CCA, that is interesting regarding NRAM, I didn't have a together loan. Wonder what I should do and if it affects me

Here is the letters from NRAM and Marlin for your perusal and advice.

8MB is pretty massive. If you like you can email it to admin@legalbeagles.info and I'll post it up for you. I think the limit is 4mb - 4gb would be gigantic.

Re: Hello, been reading loads but still unsure.

The system was showing the entire database limit rather than individual upload limits - so have corrected it. Won't help with uploading your 8mb file but will be less confusing for others, so thank you for mentioning it. I'll check emails shortly.

Re: Hello, been reading loads but still unsure.

I've managed to reduce the size a bit - I think when you scanned it you had it on max resolution - as each page was the size of a football pitch If you resize the images before printing to PDF it will come up a lot more manageable size. The other document you managed to upload - if you look at the pdf it says something like 34.7% size - zoom in to 100% and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway it is here for now - REMOVED NOW (download pdf link) - I can't reduce it any more and it is still 6MB - if you have the original image files still have a resize of those then print to PDF, then I can take it off the server :o OR you can upload the individual image files (after making them a sensible size or send them to me so I can do it. I don't have pdf editing software unfortunately

Thank you for putting it on here for me, I will get my partner to resize it tomorrow and upload it, should I message you directly to let you know if I am successful? Me and the scanner do not understand one another :noidea: I did think it was huge when I opened it but not understanding the scanner I was unsure if my thoughts were correct.

The letters refer to the assignment and are fairly standard, NRAM saying good-bye and a notice of assignment to Marlin who are introducing themselves. Keep them safe in case you need them for future reference.

The letters make reference to payments, are you still paying this?

Yes, I have been paying a token payment of £5 a month. I haven't received any new account details to start paying Marlin. But I expect that they won't like the current agreement and will now start with the threat letters etc. So because I now have the Hello letter, I should send the CCA request asap to Marlin.

Ok, I think I have sorted it now eep:

This is the Virgin Contract from the CCA request that Arrow have sent me along with the covering letter, telling me Wescot will be dealing with me on their behalf.

                      Any suggestions received gratefully

Sorry, I've only just come to this today. Is this the file that was posted, then removed by Amethyst? I want to make sure I'm looking at what the others have seen. :beagle:

Northern Rock (Asset Management) plc ("NRAM") has agreed to sell and transfer it's portfolio of unsecured personal loans to OneSavings Bank plc and subsidiaries of Marlin Financial Group Limited.
If your loan is included in the portfolio of loans to be transferred to a Marlin Financial Group company ("Marlin"), then you will shortly receive a letter from each of NRAM and Marlin and as of 28 October 2013 the transfer of legal title from NRAM to Marlin will be complete.
Please note if you have not received these letters by 28 October 2013 then your loan will be included in the portfolio of loans transferring to OneSavings Bank. NRAM and OneSavings Bank will write to you in early 2014 providing details of the transfer. Until the transfer of legal title to OneSavings Bank, NRAM remain responsible for the on-going management of your loan.
What does this mean for you if your loan is transferring to Marlin?
If your loan is being transferred to Marlin, from 28 October 2013 Marlin will be responsible for the on-going management of your loan, including responsibility for all administration and communication relating to your loan. Marlin will also have full entitlement to receive the repayments to your loan.

Also did you have any letters from them regarding this?

Important information about NRAM CCA regulated loans

Please note - in respect of loans taken out before 6 April 2008, the CCA regulations only apply where the amount we agreed to lend you (the amount of credit) was £25,000 or less.
We are continuing to review the communications that have been sent to customers holding secured and unsecured loans that are regulated under the Consumer Credit Act (CCA).
Our review has highlighted that some of these communications did not comply with all the requirements prescribed by the CCA. Certain paragraphs of mandatory wording were written incorrectly in a range of documentation that was sent to customers, and information about the amount of credit was not included in account statements.
We have now written to all existing NRAM customers, providing specific details about the impact on their loan account which may include the amount of redress, revised monthly payments and revised term end date if applicable.
We are now focusing our attention on redeemed customers and will write to those who are affected in July 2013.
Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to resolve this matter and that there is no need for you to take any action.
You can find more important information in the following sections:

Re: Hello, been reading loads but still unsure.

I had not heard about this until PlanB pointed me in the direction of it, quite suspicious this comes out and they shift debts and say they have nothing to do with it anymore.

We have now written to all existing NRAM customers, providing specific details about the impact on their loan account which may include the amount of redress, revised monthly payments and revised term end date if applicable.
Liars, liars pants on fire, the only letter they have written to me is the one telling me they have sold my loan

Then again they say that if you have a 16 digit account number it doesn't affect you, which is the number on my account number, still highly distrusting.
