MH used to collect for Lowells but started approaching their clients, so Lowells took action against them. I think it was last year sometime.

              Re: Mackenzie Hall/Colemans Solicitors

I thought I'd revisit this as I'm still being called by MH/PRA. For a while it was twice a day, but presently it's twice a week (perhaps they've run out of numbers for me to block). I've never answered a call and I've not had a letter from them in two years (cue the postman).
As there is no agreement and they're long since SB I'm not overly concerned, but I was wondering if hounding/threatening was still their mode of operation rather than litigation?

Wouldn't it just be easier to send the SB letter and no telephone calls?

Have you sent them the SBd letter? If it's SBd they would be wasting their time and money with litigation, however, once they receive a letter from you saying that the debt is SBd therefore you will not be paying it, they should stop harassing you. I'd just send the letter a.s.a.p. to get rid of them. :thumb:
