      Which is the best way forward for me now , to send them a subject access request to find out what's going on .Or go into my bank in the morning and cancell the standing order .

      I can't afford to pay them £20 anyway , it's even worse knowing the money is going into a company account that doesn't even exist.

        Ok, HFO Services Limited, not to be confused with HFO Capital (Ireland) limited are no longer trading, they were placed into liquidation a while back.

        HFO Capital seem very reluctant to take any risks which would leave them open to costs, such as taking on services debts and chasing them, so it may well be they have disappeared up their own arses never to be seen again.

          After stopping the standing order about three weeks ago , i have now recieved a letter from HFO telling me they have instructed Turnball Rutherford Solicitors to act on their behalf.

          What should i do now , i have heard nothing from them for about 18 months.They have sent me no statements to let me knowwhat i know , but the minute i stop paying they are on the case.

          The balance in April 2011 was 4324.14 and now it's2605.40, when i agreed to pay in the Summer of 2009 or 10 . The Indian person that rang me said i wouldn't have to pay the full balance , to start paying and then they would wipe the rest out .But how do i prove that he said this.

          Since i agreed to pay my circumstances have changed , iam separated from my husband witha 14 year old son . And due to long term health issues that i will have for life , i can't work at the moment.

            What is known about Turnball Rutherford , it's interesting that HFO take my money for three years and not send me a statement . But the minute i stopped paying they passes it on to this lot .

                Today i have just recieved another letter from Turnball Rutherford

                Dear Mrs Grumpy

                Our Client HFO Capital Limited

                HFO Reference

                Original Lender Barclaycard

                Assigned Balance 2,605.40

                We write to confirm that we have been instructed by our Client HFO Capital Limited , to collect your outstanding debt which remains unpaid.

                Please can you immediately contact us on 0208 849 5720 to discuss your case.

                We trust that this matter can be concluded and and look forward to hearing from you in due course.

                What should i do next , i am not refusing to pay the debt . Even though it wasn't mine in the first place , ex husband using me card to gamble while i was asleep . But i have been paying this for three years , and they couldn't be bothered to let me know how much i owed.

                Then pass this over to TR the minute i stopped paying the standing order , i don't want to phone them as they ask . Because i changed my phone number since they contacted me three years ago , and don't want them to have the new number.

                  Should i be contacting Turnball Rutherford and offer to start paying again , but first i want to see proof of all the payments i have made sine 2009 . Also confirmation of the offer i was made to wipe out some of the debt, i have noticed an emaill address on the letter .They don't have my land line so i'm not going to ring them , i don't really want to write to them either. I can't hold a pen properly with the Arthritis , and my hand writing is shocking.

                    I dont believe HFO services are trading, i understood they shut

                      If they are not trading then they are still sending out letters , i recieved one dated 11 December from HFO Capital Limited . The other one dated 13 December from TR solicitors, both letters were asking for money.

                        I have just noticed something strange , on an old letter i have from April 2011 it says HFO Services . The letter dated 11 December has HFO Capitol LTD on it.
