          Hi all,
          Hope you are all well.
I know I shouldn't worry about these letters anymore, but I still find it is so much easier said than done. I am actually stressing out about it all again and it is making me ill.
I have received a letter from Lowell offering a 75% discount for a Cap 1 credit card debt. I do not have to pay in full and can pay monthly at an amount I can afford. I can not afford to pay anything so I am not going to accept the offer. (Is that the correct thing to do ?) Lowell also say,' this debt is not going to go away and requires paying back', 'If I don't begin to pay, they will send the account to an approved debt collector who 'may'
visit my home to discuss repayment'
The thing that is bothering me most at the moment is, they have started with the phone calls again!!! I have received 5 over the last two days!! They leave an automated message saying I have to contact them 'urgently' on 0133086108. ( I know it's them as I looked up the number) I am not ringing them back.
Since my first post concerning my debts, I remembered visiting the CAB about them. (a hazy recall lol) I contacted CAB again last year and asked for copies of the letters they had sent to the companies. They are all dated December 2006, offering £1.00 per month, but I didn't make any payments and this was the last contact/acknowledgement of my debts to any company.
Should the SB date for all of my debts, that you have given me so much help with, have been in 2013 ? Even my Credit Report is clear now.
          Should I keep ignoring them?
Many thanks for reading this long post. I really, really do appreciate all the help and advice you all give.
