Re: Arrow global Robbery (discrepancy in balance)

it looks to me as the account has been assigned to arrow for some reason, but the account has not been defaulted and arrow do not offer a credit card facility so it looks like the assignment is unlawful

you can contact them if you want but debt collection agencies tell so much bovine excrament, unless its in writing for a paper trail, dont phone but PUT IT IN WRITING

address it to their complaints department and ask if the account has been assigned to them or are they just collecting on behalf of monument/barclaycard

I suppose that I could contact Monument in writing in the same way, is there any specific template available that would suite this puropose or shal I just write to them asking them to detail the assignment to Arrow to me as I havn't been informed of anything prior to this happening?

If you have any serious concerns, please be aware that most Trading Standards Departments have at least one Trading Standards Officer (TSO) on their staff who specialises in financial matters, including those relating to the Consumer Credit Act.

            yes

just send an email or letter to monument/barclayshark and

            just ask them

has my account been assigned to arrow, and if it has, why has it been assigned

tell them they have a legal obligation to inform me of any assignment under section 136 of the law of property act 1925 if they assign an account to a third party

I have been dealing with this company and writing to their Skipton address. That does not appear to be listed above? Also this is a secured loan that they are charging me excess interest on. Is this legal? Sorry to barge in

Re: Arrow global Robbery (discrepancy in balance)

I contacted monument and had a reply from Arrow, suddely apologising for a technical error ref the statements and a new set of ststements with the correct balance.
proclaiming that rcords are accurately kept etc.. and they are taking their obligations seriously etc etc.. and ahve ensured that they will prevent reoccurence, however they do also mention that they continued to report the correct balance to the credit ref agencies..
I am still under the impression if they do not own this debt, are they allowed to do this as it was reg, with monument originally back in 2003 as a card/bal etc..
What would you suggest my next move be? should I contact experian and ask them to look into it? as an incorrect entry as they do not own the debt?
