another letter received today from hl legal solicitors threatening legal action on 1/3 alledged debts i exoect to receive the same letter from the other 2 in a couple of weeks have emailed miliitant and sure he will ost it on ere as i dont know how to do it im slightly worried that they may take me to court as there has been no payments or acknolowedgments on alledged debts for 4 1/2 years

if you are that worried you can allways send the prove it template

i myself would just ignore until they send something substantial and an assignment notice delivered as to s.196 LOP act 1925

What would prove it template do? Would they have to send an assignment notice before they took me to court?

I have no clue what to do for the best so am going to follow your advice you seem to have much more if a knowledge than I do and if I keep you in on all correspondence received hopefully we can keep them at bay or make them go away I know this is wishful thinking

if they do issue a court claim we just defend it in the normal way

anybody can issue a claim, going through with it is a different kettle of fish

but as stated, only you can make that decision and a trip to your local CAB may put your mind at rest

i am trying to get crappyquest to sell the account on to another DCA. IT WILL NOT BE THAT LONG TILL STATUTE BARRED if the merry go round continues

but i am not going to make that decision for you
i can off advice from personal experience, that is all

Brilliant I shall do that then get them to sell it on and then keep doing as we are until it's statute barred sound like a plan to me! I shall be needing you expertise in any court proceedings as I have no idea neither does my partner he just says ignore them there trying to bully you and until you get a official court summons then have no contact with them

hi all! update on this received more letters today basically telling me my case has been passed on for legal processing and then offerng me 30% off alledgeed debts i would post the letter up here but dont know how to do it hoping millitant will post it up for me thoughts please?
