There are lots of things to be done befor this even reaches a court
The debt is for three mobile thy send me a letter saying that next step will b taking me to county court n send bailiffs

Having looked at the papers, its actually 180 and 240 if you include the early termination fee. Is that still to low?

Is there a possibility they send bailiffs?

And for the discount will they contact me and offer me the discount or do i have to ask them again?

and Finally why cant i speak to them on the phone, i'm not keen on sending letters.

      Thanks
      They can't just send bailiffs!

Sending bailiffs requires a court order. Debt collectors are not bailiffs. They have no more power than your neighbour's cat. All they can do is to ask you to pay, nothing more. You don't have to talk to them and you certainly don't have to let them in should they knock your door (very unlikely).

              You get a CCJ. :juge:

It depends on whether you defend the claim or do nothing, anything from 19 days (they can apply for default judgment if you don't acknowledge the claim within 14 days + 5 allowed for service to several months for a defended claim. :clock: :clock:

With regards to bailiffs, although in theory creditors can apply for a warrant of execution to enforce a CCJ, in reality this enforcement method is rarely used for debts such as yours, most bailiff threads you see here would relate to things like council tax or magistrates and parking fines. :thumb:

Have you got any grounds for disputing this debt?
