    Re: Fredrickson international

Would it be a bad idea to contact DWP to find out what it is (if anything)?

      Re: Fredrickson international

      Quick update,

Went to see my MP. He seemed a fairly decent person (for a politician). His first words were 'I think its disgusting the DWP are chasing £72 when they waste so much money everywhere else'.

He promised to look into it. Not heard anything from him let but I have had more crap from Freds...

had an LBA from freds a couple of weeks ago. Since then I've had the famous yellow card stating that they have confirmed my residence. Got another letter in the post today saying i have failed to make an acceptable repayment proposal, do not ignore this letter, THIS DEBT WILL NOT GO AWAY blah blah blah.....

Whatever happened to court action 7 days after the LBA!!!

As your MP is now involved in this matter, ignore any and all DCA "demands".

Fred will not be taken action as that's what their paraloony arm, Mr C, is for.

Should Mr C decide to write to you then we'll take further action.
Until then hold fire and see what your MP can dig up.

Do the DWP know your MP is involved. They really get quite twitchy about it. While on the whole I agree with CB, I would say let the DWP know you've spoken to your MP who is taking great interest in the case.

            Hi Caspar,

No DWP dont know yet that he's involved. Think it may be worth giving them a call and just letting them know that he's on the case then :tinysmile_grin_t:

Well guess what turned up on my door mat over the weekend.....

Yep it's a letter from Bryan Carter giving me 14 days to pay in full or they will recommend court proceedings.

              So what to do next???

                Re: Fredrickson international

Let Mr C know that you have instigated a full investigation backed by your MP concerning this alleged DWP "debt".
Also if he choses to continue with his threats you will be more than happy tp appraise the court of the vexatious nature of this claim.

They are glacial in their responses, no matter all going in the right direction.
