Thanks, they didn’t give up easily and were furious about having to pay court expenses.

Received another letter from these idiots today stating 'if you pay £1343.51 by the 5th April 2011 we will write off the remaining £4030.52 of your outstanding debt and close your account.

We will also update your credit file with the CRA's which should have a positive impact on your credit rating in the future.

This is a limited offer available until the 5th April 2011. The quickest way to take advantage of this offer is to call us on 0844 335 8498 and make your payment with a debit or credit card over the phone, alternatively please see the reverse for other payment options available.

If you can't make payment by the 5th April 2011 but would like to discuss what other opportunities are available to you to settle the outstanding balance please call us on 01280 846 655.

          Yours sincereley

Advise of further action please guys

Ben, this debt is SB? And you've told them it's SB? So don't bother corresponding with them, just send in a complaint to as suggested above. Check your credit files and if they've put any adverse info on there complain about that too, to the CRA to get it removed, and possibly the ICO depending on the results.
