Re: Income & Expeniture done, what now?

    Hi Tya,

Sorry - I've been out all day so only just logged in to catch up. You've been VERY busy - well done! The acceptance of £1 is brilliant, even if it doesn't last that long. To my mind that really means they're saying they know it's not worth taking you to court - your IE sheet now becomes a critical tool in proving your hardship and thus getting the interest frozen.

You probably don't feel like doing the new IE sheet today, but try to find time over the weekend if you can. Glad to see you've had good advice today and continued to act on it.

You've won the first battle with the acceptance of £1. Let's get you through the next battle and get the interest frozen for you. I always take the view it's worth posting anything you intend to send on here before you send it (obviously removing personal details) as sometimes others see what you don't.

Well done today - I really admire the fight you've got!

Take care and I look forward to seeing the new IE posted,

    David (Caspar) xxx

          Hiya

I have had a look now and I'm correct in saying there is actually more outgoings than incomings?

Right, well hopefully someone else may post as well with their opinions.

What I done with mine was enclose a copy of my I/E to my creditor so they could see the difficulties, so when you write to yours make sure you enclose a copy of yours to prove this and this also goes for the letter to request to freeze the interest. x

What I did do was send a copy as well with each token payment made each month so they could see there were no changes in that time.

Oooh, just noticed that..... That is a mistake, all I was trying to do was account for bdays, xmas presents for the year. Will divide that by 12.

              Thanks for noticing this. x

Just doing my interest freeze letter now. My first payments start on the 1st Nov, for £1 a month for which they have accepted.

Don't know how these things work TBH but are you sure about Telephone/mobiles being £106.00 a month? If you add the internet too that is £116.00. That does seem high to me. Does this include you TV that you watch? Not on about the TV Licence here but just your channels?

I pay £50 month to my post office telephone, that include landline rental and outstanding arrears. My mobile is £28 per month, and my sons in £18 per plus vat. So yes this is correct and I can prove it. My internet is with Sky, which is £39 a month 2 boxes with £10 for the broadband.

Does this include TV at all or that included in the TV Licence/Rent?

                      Also what about "clothes/hair etc"?

Where the box shows TV, licence and rental, that sum is for the TV licence and my sky rental.

Where the box shows telephone including mobiles, that sum is for my landline and 2 mobiles.

The internet is stand alone at £10 to sky. Total for sky is £39 per month, but I took the £10 off to put in the internet box.

Forgot about clothes and hair. Should I add these? I wish I could buy clothes and have my hair done! x Lol!

If you really don't have your hair cut or buy clothes then perhaps its best not to put them down.

As regards the mobiles/tv/phone/internet etc I would definately say there are much cheaper options TBH and do the courts accept these kind of amounts.. Its really opened my eyes if they do.

Well my 2 mobile are contracts, for which I've had for 7 years. My £28 contract is 1000 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited Blackberry services, unlimited internet, and Free voicemail. My sons for £18 a month is the same except he has 600 free mins. This is a very good for which I sure will agree.

My landline is for an outstanding balance on the account plus line rental, I'm on incoming call only until this has been paid off.

The internet comes with Sky for which I have been with for more than 10 years, I don't see why I should close these accounts as these have been apart of my life for such along time.

Thats my social time, not pubbing, clubbing, eating out or even the cinema......

Also, I'm sure you are all aware, its not that easy to get other accounts once you have defaults, and I do....

Was just saying its actually opened my eyes on things like this TBH. Not saying anything about you changing suppliers etc but I thought it may help with your finances and making repayments etc.

Yes, I do understand where you are coming from.

These things have been in place from when I was working, then was made redundant.

I made sure that I have put this info down so it may help someone else.

Also, I have not been taken to court, as the DCA have agrred to my £1 a month. I'm just doing the I/E form as I would like to get the interest frozen.

But thanks for looking at what I have put down, as everyones input is truly valuable. x
