Hi All,
Gradually getting through things now I've found this forum and trying to sort 6 years of hiding from my debts.
I got a letter this morning from Robinson Way Ltd stating I owe Lloyds Bank £3125.17 and asking me to phone them. Needless to say I haven't!
What makes this interesting is that yesterday I got a copy of my credit report from Equifax. There are debts on there from Lloyds Bank, but nothing anything like this amount nor anything mentioning Robinson Way. The account number quoted also doesn't bear any resemblance to any account I ever had with Lloyds TSB.
As I'm so new to this, am I right in thinking the way forward is to write to Robinson Way (who I assume are a DCA for Lloyds TSB) with the Prove It letter? If so, presumably I send it just to them and not to Lloyds TSB, or do I send it to both?
All advice gratefully received. Already asked one company to write off a debt and am fighting back against bailiffs and the local council over an issue now resolved in their eyes, but about to come back to haunt them, regarding Council Tax and Bailiffs 3 years ago. Amazing what confidence a site like this can give you!
Thanks in advance for any advice on this one,
David
