I need help with2vodafone contracts that we can no longer pay. We had2fones that were stolen by my partners violent ex. Because of his violence there was no way we were going to the police - been there done that before and it made things worse. So i know thats our fault i suppose but we cant afford to keep paying for fones we dont have as we had to get another. What exactly can Voda do as we have had a letter saying that we have to pay£1500.00 straight away in full that we just dont have. Please can you help us. Thanks. Sue and Jane.

Re: Help with Vodafone contract
We have only had them for a few months. we had no problems paying the bills when we had the phones - so do you think they might accept a payment plan. we can only really afford about £10.00 a month though as we are paying off a lot of old debts that have caught up with my partner from when she was with her ex. Hes landed us in it everywhere - nice guy eh?!
Any help would be appreciated as we are worried as we cannot pay 1500.00 - not even near.
Thanks,
Jane.

Re: Help with Vodafone contract
Why can't you just contact Vodafone and tell them the phones have been stolen. Vodafone will then bar the numbers and supply you with new ones. Buy a cheap phone (Tesco have one unlocked to any network for under £9.00 at the moment) - it only makes calls, but it's a phone and very dinky and small!
Then explain the situation in full to Vodafone and ask how the charges have run up to that amount. If they won't tell you, come back here and ask for the SAR letter. Hopefully they'll be understanding and let you agree a sensible repayment plan and give you new sim cards to put into your new cheap mobiles, then hey presto, you're back in business.
