3 years ago i signed up to credit expert and found i had a ccj against me from the dvla. I phoned dvla and they told me that in 2005 id sold a vehicle but not sent the log book back and they filed for the ccj at northampton county court. I told dvla that i had not recived any notification from them and im sure i would have paid the amount of £100 if i had known about it. i am aware that the ccj gets deleted after a 6 years but i was wondering if i can do anything to get it deleted now as i never recieved correspondance from the dvla or the court.

Re: ccj causing massive credit problems please heeeeelp
I think you can pay it and have it marked as settled or you can apply to have the judgment set aside as you knew nothing of it and were willing to pay had you had any notification whatsoever. Have a look Debt Factsheets - How to set aside a Judgment in the County Court for info. It would cost you a fee and probably attendance at a hearing so what you do really depends on how much the ccj is affecting you.#staysafestayhome
