  • Lowell and Mental health

    Hi

Based in scotland and being constantly harassed by Lowell ie calls and letters. They are chasing me for £1150 credit card debt. I am at my wits end on how to approach and deal with them. I took early retirement 2 years ago because of severe mental health issues which were affecting my daily work routine. I am 60 years old and a homeowner without a mortgage, any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi
I asked Lowell and they said it was opened on 25/11/2018. Unsure when last payment was made.
      Thanks

You can ask them for a copy of the CCA, if they don't have it, then the debt is unenforceable.

          https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...etter-example/

You can fill in an Income and Expenditure form, make sure to take into account the cost of living crisis, i.e everything costs more, i.e. food, energy etc.

If after you fill it in, you are left with £1, so be it. That is what you offer to pay each month. The debt is a non priority debt.

Choose the correct letter, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
