As Cattles, who own Welcome, may lose their banking licence I think you'll find it's the main one

It's not 'new' business that's their incentive it's the fact that they want to ensure their customers are signed to 'enforceable' agreements........ before the book has to be sold .......................allegedly

WFS are definately plying the game differently lately, my OH has had them phone her on 4 different occassions to offer her a top up on her loan which she has refused on each occassion, but they keep ringing back. They are getting desperate for new business and are trying new ways to drum it up.

This all makes it a bit unpredictable but nothing to worry about at all.

They don't call me so the last time they called my other half I told her to say Tanz said hi lol.

Just checked the post office trackin system and welcome have recieved my 14days deadline letter regardin mis-sold ppi.
Also, dont know if this relevant or not but I got call from a welcome representative today and he said he was just callin to say my complaint was bein dealt with and they would be in touch soon. I asked wat complaint he was talkin about cause I made 3 and he said he couldnt tell me but was asked to let me know they are dealing with my case now and then he wished me good day and hung up...... very strange call indeed, never had one like it before so it just makes me feel uneasy for some reason.

Well done poochie and good luck.
Please remember to keep to YOUR timescales as in the letter, do not go giving them any lee way.
You can check with Royal mail when it was delivered, but I think it's the norm to allow 2 days.

It looks like most posters approved the letter in post 83 - so start with that one - send by recorded delivery.

I will get the arrears one together for you in the next couple of days.

Thanx again to everyone for their input on this, its always much appreciated and as for the above post, well we do agree but we have thot that way for a while because we get no answers from welcome or we get told to wait for return call only we never get the return call but wen I phone them back, its funny how they gave me a number twice that just seemed engaged all the time....I should have kept that number but unfortunately I didnt.
Is there any news on the letter I should be writing yet?.... I'm very keen to get this sorted cause it aint doin my stress levels any good....Thanx
