Hi, sorry if this question has been asked before I'm new here so not sure.
I have been paying off 2 debts to lowel for around a year. Both were offered at a discounted balance of which I accepted. I am only paying 5.00 on one and 2 pounds on the other. However I have recently checked the direct debit's and have now paid more than both the discounted balances. So I was wondering is the 'discounted balace' the total amount I should have paid?
thanks in advance for any help.

If the discounted balance was the one agreed then yes. You should contact lowell and inform them you have overpaid, then request a refund. If they refuse inform them that if they choose not to refund you will seek a refund via your bank under the direct debt indemnity scheme. If you have to go down the bank route then simply explain that they have taken over payments and won't refund them.
