Hi Guys, I've recently had a couple of CCJ'S granted recently as I've not acknowledged or them etc and ignored them. Im assuming there may be more to come so browsing the internet I came across your site which looks like it has a wealth of knowledge with debts. Funnily enough, I've received a letter today from Lantern and i was wondering what the best way to respond.

    Thanks In advance

Why have you ignored CCJs? And you reckon there are more on the way? It's very important to reply to anything involving purported debt.

I've never heard of Lantern. £150 isn't a huge debt. Are you of the mind that it is associated with you? If so, I'd pay that off, pronto, before the Bailiffs arrive on the back of your ignored CCJs.

Would be ccj's and Lantern/MMF debts be from old payday loans ?

Have you kept the paperwork from the court claims that you ignored? Do you know what claims were for, what the judgement was (e.g. forthwith or monthly instalments)? How much they were? Do you own your own house?

          Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late reply, i didn't even know what a CCJ was and until i got a form about deductions from earnings last week (when I posted on this forum), i didn't appreciate how serious the letters were.

Overtime i was getting lots of letters and most of them were idol threats. I'll be honest I don't think I opened the CCJ ones or not read them properly.

I recently got a one about an N56 which was a court order asking for my employment details which I still have. I responded and informed them i am unemployed as i recently quit my job to study again.

I think they might be linked to old payday loans but not 100 % that's what they are for, upon looking at my junk email i have several messages from TM legal services so it must be linked to them if that helps.
