Hi I wonder if anyone could be of service.

I had a contract with YourMoneyHub back last year. They were expected to provide me with a consistent flow of leads, which they failed to produce, even though I was paying them a subscription fee.

I called them to cancel the contract and also cancelled my Direct Debit with them as well.

I heard nothing from them, until a couple of months ago, when another Debt Agency contacted me about this issue.

It has subsequently been passed onto Expert Collections, who are chasing me for payment.

Could someone please help me to understand what to going forward.

Do you have the terms of your agreement with YourMoneyHub from when you signed up ?

The Client Acquisition Service ? At the moment they state

We work as a pay-per-enquiry service. There are no subscriptions or fees, so you only pay for what you get.

so presumably they have changed how they operate.
Their Registered office address on their website is different to that which is registered at Co House which seems to be that of their accountants.
Are you a limited company and regulated by the FCA etc ? ( not entirely relevant to the debt claim against you just wondering if they do check who they are passing the leads on to ( or not as the case may be ) ) it doesn't look like Yourmoneyhub.co.uk ltd are FCA authorised. That I guess depends on the type of leads you were taking from them.

Anyway sorry, sidetracked easily - this is the debt collection company they are using to chase you ? http://www.expertcollections.co.uk

Our charging structure is much more simple and economical.

We will add late payment costs on to the debt which are chargeable to the debtor. As such we are offering free debt collection to our clients, the debtor will pay for the cost of the collection no matter what the size of the debt.

Yes its the same Your MoneyHub. There was a subscription of £49 per month. The leads were for regulated financial advice leads.

I took the contract out under my previous firm, who I have now left, but they are chasing me via my personal details despite the letters still having my name and my previous company name on it.

It is the same expert collections you mentioned there.

Okay - did you receive a copy of their terms when you signed up for the subscription ? Digital copy by email maybe ? I can't find anything on their site.
