Re: Threatened to be taken to court for debt

my account was randomly closed by tsb got a letter saying they are closing my account due to random money being brought into my account and I accidentally took it thinking I got paid as I was due to get paid at the same time.
Basically they have closed all my accounts down giving me a warning telling me they are closing my accounts down however I don't ever recall getting a default noticed about my accounts. I just know my accounts were closed down.
Have you sent a Subject access Request to TSB at all? Might be worth doing.

    What was this 'random' money?

I've not done that yet, Might do that.

Basically on the 7th of November which is my payday, at 12am I received a payment of 2 thousand which at the time I though it was my paycheck. However it turned out to be from this random person and after 4 days there was a chargeback on my account for fraud even though I didn't do anything as I thought it was just my wage coming through I accidently used the money from this person but my paycheck did come in a few hours later and that was why my account is closed.

I didn't even do anything wrong aha

Your name is showing on that letter (twice) and the Lloyds account number.

You need to remove those since they identify you.

That letter simply confirms that they have received your s 77-79 CCA Request and are currently unable to comply.
