      I don't belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve it!!!

OH got a letter from Cap 1 today offering a refund, charges, CI, 8% and fees, I sent exactly the same letters al the way through, same POC - everything, so he gets what he asks for and I don't

Only reason I can think is that his account is still open and mine are closed?

        Hello Ian,

Really knaffs you off, maybe write to them stating these facts that you can prove they are refunding others and not you

            Re: IanCognito v Capital One

Could you bring OH claim as evidence if it got to Court? That might be handy to tell the Judge. Is it worth emailing them pointing this out? Obviously they don't cross reference addresses etc or the left hand might know what the right hand was doing lol.

If you write to them stating these facts, the letters of correspondence will be the court bundles for the judge and everybody else to see

Just a thought, were yours and OH's letters both from the same person? Mine is signed by Hayley somebody or other. Perhaps she's got more of a moral conscience?? lol

Wendy you can't use Capital One and Moral Conscience in the same sentence.

No I haven't checked but I will and I'll point out the anomalies when I send them their cheques back tonight.

.....and I know you've just been sitting there all day thinking of something to post so you can come over and gloat!!!!!

I have not so too!!!! I'm many things but not a gloater.

I still think your dead brave- obviously got more principles than I have. If I had a cheque I would have definitely cashed it by now. You're not sending OH's cheque back as well are you???

Right I'm off back to my knitting now.....

                      Re: IanCognito v Capital One

OK so as you've probably guessed, the cheques burnt a hole in my purse so I paid them into the bank, apologies for being week but £2k is £2k when all said and done.

So thats this one all done and dusted, donation made (was nice to do that for a claim that had been started and ended on Beagles) :carrot:
