Ground to a halt on this one, LBa/rejection/partiial acceptance sent recorded on 12th, not signed for yet. Royal Mail say its due to the strike and confidently expect it to be there within next couple of days. Huh! But it just means more interest so not too worried, just have to revise the N1 and spreadsheets. Never mind, great things come to those who wait.......

Well I'm fed up with these clowns at the Post Office. Still no sign of the LBA turning up at Crap One, so have printed it off again, added in a bit about I've sent it once but blah blah Postal strike, and am off to the Post Office to send it Special delivery guaranteed next day. And I can get a pizza for lunch while I'm out, to cheer me up.

Reply (two in fact) from Crap One. Usual bog off thats our final offer stuff. Well its not my final offer so there! Will be printing new N1 later for filing over the next few days. Just need to amend spreadsheet up to todays date for the extra interest and away we go. Need some spending money for Milan so they'd better get their rrr's into gear.

Couple of weeks after the N1 fr agreement then a week or so for the cheque, they will pay any outstanding abalance off the card if you've still got it though.

I got the whole lot of charges on my account, which was also closed ages ago but had a balance of £28. They took the 28 and sent a cheque for the rest. N1 details the full amount of charges, debited interest and s.69, same as I did when I filed my own claim, so i can't see as there should be any difference with this one. They've already offered him the £8 for each charge, I turned it down for him. ( well he signed the letter). But Crap One don't know their **** from their elbow so it could all be different this time.
