      Hi Fitz

      A few peeps have already received back refunds of the fee in full that they paid to Cento, I belive Potless is one and there was another on my Cento thread also. I know that many phonecalls were made before a full refund was made

      As Sapphy says, post up the terms & conditions that you signed for when you parted with your cash.

      Have you received anything in writing from them since parting with your money? Did they put you in touch with Forbes Douglas? or any firm of Solicitors?

      Do you actually know what they have done for you so far?

      Also, perhaps you could start a thread for the Cento problem and a different thread for your MBNA claim.

          I did, it took them a month to send them to their Solictors Forbes Douglas who are apparently not Solicitors now but another Claims management company.

            When will i have to pay your fees?

            Our fees are deducted from your claim settlement.

            I have started a claim myself, can you help me?

            Yes, in most cases we can continue the claim for you. But an administration fee of £149.99 is charged

            Do I have to pay anything upfront?

            We charge you an administration fee of £149.99 and 25% plus VAT of the money reclaimed. You do not pay any upfront fees, in the unlikely event you don’t win, we pay all the costs.
            So why have they already charged you £299?

              I don't have any T & C's but recieved a receipt for my money. I've actually had no other paperwork at all. They are quite convincing but their constent comments now which they always repeat is making me very, very supicious. I half what them to do what they promised but I also really want them to hang themselves. Their last comment to me yesterday was to hang on again, they are getting loads of successful results coming through with other clients and mine will be through soon.

                    From Cento's website: The £149.99 administration fee will be refunded back to you within 7 working days. The only cost you stand to lose is the £10 document fee you supplied with your claim

                    This does not make sense. How can this sum of money be repaid when no money has been paid?

                        I know I have spoken with them - remember, they phoned me and they could not answer any of my questions truthfully.

                        Another question - Where did you get my details, they told me the FSA told them to phone me, what a load of nonsense.

                        For a start they lied to you about Forbes Douglas and if they can out right lie about this what makes you think that they are noy lying to you with your claim.

                        Something else concerns me here they have only recently increased their fees to £149 - so how do you get to £299? Back in March the fees were only arround £39.

                        Have you tried speaking to Forbes Douglas directly -

                            Thanks, so what did they do for you if anything and what happened if nothing? I don't know how I came to pay that money but I did, thats what they told me as they was so convincing. I remember reading that someone on here got their money back in a Cheque rather than refunding their Card. Maybe because they deleted their details.

                              Phone Forbes Douglas tomorrow - and get an update from them.

                              Also, you can phone your credit card company and tell them that you are not entirely happy and want a refund and see if they can help.
