    Re: WendyB - v - Capital One

tis the court Wendy some are doing blanket stays on all claims CC or bank accounts. CC's should not be stayed really, but I think you would have to go through the process to get the stay lifted.
This is how I understand it anyway, suppose if you can find out what is happening in your local court you might be ok.

        Re: WendyB - v - Capital One

Well my letter from Cap One arrived on saturday, nothing exciting, just a copy of the default they allegedly sent me. Not even a copy, just a letter telling me what was on the original letter, they say they can't produce exact copies. I'm giving up on the default removal, althought they are gits and knew I'd be paying the balance on a certain date, they defaulted me a week before I paid it. never mind, I've had worse things than a default on my record! This letter also says that after I paid them 20 recently they've marked it as settled....I'll just go and have a look at my credit file shall I? Back later......

                      Re: WendyB - v - Capital One

Yes, 8 means default so not much chance of my 8 disappearing. Spoke to Cap one last night and apparently they update the file 287 days after there's been activity, so mine should be updated by the end of the month. Just have to wait and see.

they've had my last letter, said it was showing as recieved yesterday, (I know they had it on 15th) they have a 3-5 day turnaround, allegedly......
