    CCA Request

    Hi All,

    I need to send a CCA request (of behalf of my son) to Lowlife. Just checking to see do we have to send a £1 postal order to do this? I believe I have read somewhere a few years again that you do not have to pay a fee, is this correct?

    Also, if a CCA is sent how do I know if it is genuine? (If online digitally signed)

    Yes you need to send the statutory fee, they may not accept it, but you are obliged to offer it.

        Update on CCA request to Lowlife.

        Hi All,

        Lowlife responded to my CCA (on behalf of my son) and advised that they had contacted the original creditor to obtain. It has now gone way over 12 working days ( was sent on 27th July) and today I received a letter stating that they are still waiting for a response from the OC and that the account is on hold.

        What happens now that they have gone over the 12 working days?

          up tothen now a waiting game, they could issue a court claim but at then end of the day they would have to produce one, what is it for credir card or loan derails??

            a CCA request goes to owner of an alledged debt , lowells have passed it in

              The debt becomes temporarily unenforceable
