    Good morning,
Defaulted accounts are removed on the 6th anniversary of the default date paid or not, this does not automatically mean a debt is statute barred.
Any payment or acknowledgment in the relevant 6 year period resets the 6 year clock.
It will be difficult now to track down the owners of these debts.
If any company does attempt to pursue these debts then you just inform them in writing that the debt is statute barred.
If any company issues a claim statute barred on or before the date of issue statute barred is a complete defence.
