No Default on Credit File, despite default being issued by Debt Collection Agency

    Sorry to dig up a very old thread, but I think I'm now in a position to challenge the default to be backdated and (or even firstly) to insist that the debt is statute barred.

    I've read the ICO pdf doc in the link provided, and think that points 9, 10 & 11 are the best use for making them backdate the default.

    Could anyone help please?

    Once this default is removed, my credit file will effectively be 'clear' after almost 14 years of debts/defaults etc
