  • Moorcroft Reply to CCA request - help

Hi all, could someone advise me on what to do with the following repsonse i have had to my CCA request. I thought as Moorcroft are looking after the account as the DCA they had to supply the information:

    Dear xxxxx,

Thank you for your recently received letter requesting a copy of the credit agreement.
Under the instruction of the above client (Client: Britannica Recoveries S.A.R.L - Arrow) please find enclosed your £1 fee that was submitted with your request letter. Our clients have advised they require payment to be made payable directly to them. Please re-send your payment payable to the above named client as soon as possible so that we can action your request.

    Moorcroft.

Im not sure why i have to i thought i make it payable to Moorcroft and they have to get me the information from whoever.

They should, but the debt was only handed to Moroncrap to collect rather than being absolutely assigned to them and hence they are playing at Silly Buggers.

The chances may well be that the creditor (Britannica Recoveries S.A.R.L - Arrow) won't be able to satisfy the request either, but their artwork department may be able to cobble together a "reconstituted twue copy" that they'll pretend complies with the law.

Moorcrap are talking utter carp as usual! If they are chasing you, they should get the documents form the OC, see this post with a similar situation and a letter you could send: http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...130#post335130

I agree with both the above, they are being rsoles, however strictly speaking the Postal order or check should be made payable to the creditor, they should then pass it on together with the request.

I always sent blank POs to avoid getting into that territory.
