Told them its fraudulent and their collectors have told me to put in fraud complaint to HBOS. Why should I they fail to send me what is right. Why would I sign against my incorrect name.
I reckon you've got them nailed..maybe just sit on this and they will think it is all good enough to support a court claim...then when they turn up..you can nail them good and proper ? Was yours a Sainsbury card circa 2002/3 ?...would be intersted to see what was on the reverse if it was...

Re: DSAR returned by HBOS ?

Almost 5 months since I sent this SAR request..and now I'm met with 'out of Office' responses....Promises to update me have not not happened...think I'm being given the cold shoulder ...which can only mean...they are stuck ?

Not one to miss an opportunity, but also to ensure I am seen to go through all the hoops, I have sent a complaint now to the ICO. While my expectations aren't very high...and this isn't going to actually achieve very much if they don't want to play ball, the ICO is pretty toothless I think, it will provide a record of how naughty the bank is..

Total disregard for deadlines and Data Protection Act by the bank...

Re: DSAR returned by HBOS ?

Just to wrap this up, after all the advice I've been given.
They did get fed up of me in the end...paid a bit more compo and then said they are not going to pursue the debt. I have this in writing from the CEO office...they didn't say 'never'...but they won't be back I'm sure of that.
they said someone would contact me in a couple of weeks with the final bits of missing info...but they never did...so they've given up it seems...which I think was wise of them because obviously they realised they could never get a judgement against me....and I didn't even have to reveal my aces !

        result !
