      I'm a different person but I am in the same position as what Salem was..

      I had acourt order for possession in feb 2008. The order says the judgement for the balance o/s of £66,513.39 not to be enforced whilst possession remains suspended. It was suspended as long as we paid the monthly payment plus an additional 50.00 per mth to arrears.
      We are now wanting to settle the account and have asked for a figure they have given o/s balance of £6,809.36 plus settlement interest charge of 26,573.14 total £33,511.94 as a 18th November
      I have gone back to Firstplus and said that they can't charge interest this wasn't on the order, they are saying that the court order balance was at the time of the order and not a settlement. But if the judge had granted possession they would have only got 66,513.89.. Can we fight this
