  • Overcharged on my loan?

Hey Guys If im in the correct place - I hope so this time I am hoping somebody will be able to look at a statement from my car loan and see if you can find anything out of place with them.

If you look to start with at the very top it says payments of £166 and yet they have asked for more than that - I also canx my insurances (supposedly)...And payments have gone up not down...

The other thing is, they charge me 2,3,4 times on the same days..
i.e theres a day where they charge me 2x£50 for the same thing...is that allowed, a fault in the system that shouldn't really be allowed.

I have attached a copy of the statement for you viewing.

Im also trying to sort with the same people my PPI claim...another story.

Any help or/and advice is really appreciated, hopefully i can knock this on the head as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

Think you had named it xxxxx.doc.pdf which may have confused the uploady thingy, amended it to xxxxx.pdf and works fine

Oh I tried to change the prefix for it, as I couldnt see pdf on the doc, I eventually got it into word doc and then pdf work so a day of calamitys, I also can't find my agreement at the moment its a poor photocopy what they gave me anyway so I should probably get a new one tbh.

PTF---it really is hard to comment without the agreement and letters re arrears + new arrangements

Yes-at the top it says 48 @ £166.62 but you have arrears also

Was the £182-ish figures a new amount to take account of paying off arrears in the same 4 yr period?

I can't see £50 same day btw---lots of £35 but I suspect they are for all the preceding payments being late

You really need to write and ask them about the figures if you are not sure

I'll look at other thread re PPI---but I want
            • agreement
            • and letters re increases etc cos your payments erratic
            • and any statements that might precede those posted
            • any letters you have cancelling insurance & their acknowledgement
If we don't have agreement-can we be sure you had PPI even-I'll move to your other thread and if we haven't got agreement-I'll ask Di30 to take you through procedures of SAR & then initial letters claiming mis-sold PPI---which we must do-even with the JD pending-

Understandable, I have come half prepared im trying to find my agreement, Im hoping it will be on here when I get home tonight!
R.E the arrears, I do understand that i do - But i didn't on day one and they asked for more than they should from day one which is wrong obviosuly. I think its madness they can charge even £35 on the same day as many times as they want. And i can't get anything back, its crazy they can just charge anything anytime ha! anyway I wont get carried away here.

              PPI was my main Issue,
I will today get on -
              A) Agreement,
              B) I do luckily keep copies of letters send and received – I’m not sure I got a real reply from them, but when speaking on the Phone with the people, they do confirm that the insurance is now canx

              C) I never received a letter about payments increasing either, just whilst on phone I got a oh
              D) Statements – Check!!

I definitely had every single insurance going! But obviously you will need to see the agreement anyway

I know this all seems a little on the dodgy side, but it’s the way they conduct their business, they just tell me on the phone, they want more, less, charging for this, charging me for late payments even when they aren’t late etc, that’s my frustration grrr! On with the PPI

Thanks for all help here guys J
