Does BC actually tell the next DCA they are selling details onto about the 'account' that it has had no success previously with the other 1, 2 or 3 DCA's.

Since BC are 'selling' the account how many times over they will be getting money from these DCA's right? Am I right in thinking that BC are making money one way or the other from these accounts?!

Well AK are now offering me a discount - if I agree to pay £30 a month for a year they will knock £600 off the balance.

Very generous considering they have just added nearly £5,000 to the debt and are adding 17% per annum on top of that!

Oh well they can add what they like coz i'm not payng anything till i get an enforceable CCA!!!

If you can be bothered you can write back to AK to have the interest removed, they were very accomodating with me on another account and removed the interest no problem. Can't remember where I read it but I believe DCA's are not allowed to charge interested. Maybe Curlyben can help on that one.

You may be like me at the moment with BC though and have completely gone passed the point of caring.

I was wonderign who Ak would pass it on to.

I've not heard of them either, but I guess that they are a lower grade of DCa than AK are!! probably all mouth and no bite - I hope anyhow!!

CB seems to know all the DCA's and i'm sure he will give us his knowledgeable opinion of them!!!

It must be still profitable being a DCA as there are so many of them! They all must hope however that none of their 'customers' are members of LB!!!!!

I hate bullies, whether in the playground or elsewhere.
