  • Barclaycard - 1st Credit CCA

Hi newbie here - could anyone help and let me know if these documents from Barclaycard re a CCA are enforceable please. They have come from 1st Credit who have been an absolute nightmare and are hounding me. I have sent them the harrassment letter, and the calls have eased off, however when I submitted the SAR request this is all I have received so far.

Could you let me know if this is a valid CCA

    Would really appreciate the help.
    Many thanks

Re: Barclaycard - 1st Credit CCA

Well it has APR, no figure for credit limit but does have the will notify from time to time bit (might be an argument on that) signatures+executed, cancellation info. It does however refer to conditions which are not on the front of that agreement - do you know if it has a back, obviously they havent sent it to you if there was?

Are there charges on the account do you know?

Re: Barclaycard - 1st Credit CCA

      Hi Amethyst and Thank you.

There are charges but I am unaware how much so I have requested a SAR and sent Barclaycard my £10 ( 1st Credit also took £10 but this is all they sent me )

No other paperwork has come through and there is nothing on the back of the microfiche documents I have received.

This was the application form I completed in 1987, well thats what I thought it was.

      What do you think.

1st Credit have also stated in their letter that this is an edited copy - I am not sure what that means and also to confirm my signature.

YOu want to ask for the terms and conditions that were with the application form they have sent you.

Whats the actual position currently with repaying the debt?

Re: Barclaycard - 1st Credit CCA

Thank You Amethsyt I will ask 1st Credit for the T& C's.

I was with Barclay card paying them, they used to call me every three months for confirmation of my debit card and take the money out by debit card £90 per month for a £6700 debt I have. Now 1st Credit have it and have sent me the authorisation letter from Barclaycard. I have been paying the same amount back to them for a year now and then I disputed the amount according to my Bank statements. 1st credit asked me to go back to Barclaycard with I did and between us ( Barclay card and my statements we managed to locate 4 missing payments ) which 1st Credit say they have now rectified. I have asked them for copies of my statements ( which I have not received as yet ) and this is why they sent me this CCA completed back in 1987.
I have requested a reclaim for charges on my barclaycard which is still pending and this could cut quite a bit of this debt out in my estimation.

Really appreciate your help everyone, Its dire when they dial you continuoulsy.

              Thank you
