  • Every Direct Debit

    Hi
I have a very account and pay by direct debit .Direct debit to me anyway, means a payment once a month not two. Very have a 28 day payment system. Under that system I have noticed that Very take two payments per month. This interferes with other commitments regards my other monthly payments, mortgage and utilities. Can I refuse to pay twice a month or haven't I got leg to stand on regards direct debit rules.

If the terms you have agreed with them state a 28 day payment cycle then you are bound by that.

I am afraid that if it is something that you have agreed to, then you don't really have a choice, I am afraid!
