I claimed £1800 from the Abbey after deducting £800 refunded by them. They paid £1800- £800 already paid, £1200 in full settlement and they wrote to the court saying that they had settled my claim in full. Unfortunately when I took them to court I was confused as I only realised the above had occurred after the case was heard, thinking I had made a mistake, I had to pay their costs of £350.
In fact logically they still owe me £800 as I had already deducted the amount refunded before making my claim, I wrote to the court saying that an error on both sides had occurred. They have sent me N244 ( APPLICATION NOTICE) to complete with a fee of £75.00. Is there a realistic chance of getting the remaining £800 and costs £350? What do I need to put on the order I am seeking. Any help would be appreciated.:doh:
