    HELLO,
Can anyone help? Trying to claim back charges from NatWest. Sent a letter to them outlining what I was claimimg on the 22nd May and recieved one this morning from them. They informed me that they were Considering my claim but it will take them 6-7 weeks to respond because of the work involved in the assesment! Seeing as In my claim letter I gave theym 14 DAYS to respomd what do I do now?

    1. Allow them to take their time 6-7 weeks
    OR
    2. Send another letter saying that I am not prepared to wait that long as they did not give me 6-7weeks to pay back before they put charges on my account???

Anyone who thinks they know what I should do please help.

It is so good to get some Advice that I agree with. Will definately be sending out the letter before court action.
I didnt think that they could actually turn he tables and start dictating time scales.
Im ready to carry on with the next step. Fingers crossed they dont employ another delay tactic!

Good luck with your Natwest claim Smartchelle

How much are you claiming? On my large claim against Natwest (+3k) they defended and dragged it out till after AQ stage.
With my smaller (-1k) claim they paid up after LBA!

      Let us know what happens.

      Welcome to Beagles btw!

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

It was my second claim against them so I think they'd sussed by then not to bother with games!

But a similar amount so heres hoping you get a fast response.

Natwest were a right PIA during 2 of my claims.

They got up to all sorts of tricks - instructing Debt collectors - registering defaults even though account were 4 year old since last used.

Heres hoping you dont get messed about but hey of you do Im sure you'll get loads of support from the peeps on here!!

THE WAY FORWARD ON THESE CLAIMS, IS TO STAY POSITIVE, FOCUSED AND PATIENT, AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS BELIEVE ITS WORTH THE EFFORT, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS. WHY CHOOSE THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE WHEN THERES NOTHING TO LEARN FROM THAT. THINK OF CLAIMING AS A PERSONAL CHALLENGE AND GIVE IT YOUR ALL.
