This was originally a finance agreement for a PC with First National Tricity Finance, started in 1999.
With only a few hundred owing it was passed to Moorcroft, who defaulted it in 2003. The account was soon paid, but the default still stands on my credit file until next year.
When I checked the statements there were more than £300 charged just for sending letters at £20 per time.
The account has since transferred to GE Money
A Prelim Letter was sent early in Jan.
They replied last week with the usual garbage and are refusing tp repay or remove the default.
