Well chappy's rang back.........the only information kept is Name, Address, Acount no's, Status ceased.
I queeried the NW Archive and he said no information is kept.
I asked about Microfiche, he said "not for that period, microfiche is a lot older than that"

Is there anything else I can try?

This is e mail I sent em, courtesy of our Nattie, lol lol xxxxxx

                    Dear Ms Tudor,

I refer to my letters requesting full SAR on my file back in January and our subsequent conversation today wherein you advised that you will get the information sent out to me just as soon as possible. With regard to your comment about you can only provide full SAR file going back no further than 6 years. I have evidence to the contrary that you can infact go back much much further, to approx. 1992.

For you information FULL SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST under the Data Protection Act (1998) covers ALL data in a relevant filing system for an indeterminable period not just statute of Limitations Act 6 years. You are either trying to deliberately mislead me OR DO NOT KNOW YOUR OWN COMPUTER SYSTEMS. I refer to notes from a friend working within the RBS group. Notes on NatWest Group PLC Archives . This will advise you how to access all my file information going right back to my accounts inception with Natwest which is what I require under full SAR law.

YOU CAN SEE. Check this out for yourself, if you have any difficulty undertaking this simple task I am more than happy to come go to a local Natwest Branch and pull this information off mysef.

                    INSTRUCTIONS:
Bank Office Master Index, 04, 26, then 45 (you can just do 04, 45) That is the NatWest Archive.
Option 1 which gives you 12 options of which one is customer notes/events. You click that option which has a screen which says ALL EVENTS press ENTER you then have notes on account starting on the page nearest to October 2002 and going back to 1992. In case you are unaware you can print the page or go into the note and press Print.

If you follow the instructions above that will give you all the SAR information you need to access my entire files, which I require fill copies of under data protection act SAR request.

I trust the information above will help you obtain the information I am requesting. And I look forward to receiving the information togeether with your confirmation that you will be sending this to me this week.

                    Thank You

THE WAY FORWARD ON THESE CLAIMS, IS TO STAY POSITIVE, FOCUSED AND PATIENT, AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS BELIEVE ITS WORTH THE EFFORT, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS. Hi Enaid, I didn't have an overdraft, although I was overdrawn by thier charges. They haven't made any threats to close my acccount yet, but I'm working on it!

Yep, that worries me a bit, cos I've had extra charges since they paid out on our advantage gold account, don't want to put another claim in, in case they close the account. I think I might just bite the bullet on that one, its £76, but that might be a small price to pay compared to all the hassle of getting another account, specially as our credit rating is not good enough to get anything more than a very basic account...

A small amount like that, they won't put up much of a fight. I didn't have to go as far as a Money claim on £126 but they did take thier sweet time about it. A phone call did get them moving.
