Get a call blocker - either the expensive Truecall or a less expensive alternative.

Meanwhile, continue to "fail security" - link gives some ideas of how to wind them up!

Puff Versus Santander Cards round 6

I ring to get an update on the complaint, and am told there is no 3rd party authorisation on the account at al.. despite emails from the CEO's office thanking us for the proof of authorisation.

Am told basically that the CEOs office have no idea what they are talking about and that the info provided is wrong. Ask to be transfered to the CEO (no direct dial details listed) to be told.. ready

            they dont exist.

            IM TALKING TO GHOSTS.

They then offer me a CALL BACK (I kid you not) within 48 hours from the "Specialist Team".

The whole complaint is that they are ringing me constantly.. the last thing I want is a call back!!! ATM I am in the queue for an operator, with a list of DDs and the date they were set up to hand, and a copy of the Email from them saying that I have the authorisation.

They are now saying theirn policies override Ofcom and the telecommunications act, as I have stated I will either wait for an advisor or be transfered through cold and as I have given them 2 viable options they must pick one. I dont think this girl likes me too much..

                  Re: Santander calls

UPDATE: this is becoming more like a blog than a thread but at least I am not forgetting anything, I have spoken to the CEO of Santander Groups office..

I have been told by Santander Cards that the autorisation (approved by the CEOs office) is not good enough

Just finished speaking with the CEOs office again, he has (and i have proof) done everything that he says he would, will contact Santander cards and barrack (nice polite word there folks) them again!

                    Re: Santander calls

                    UPDATE:
12/3/2013: Santander cards admit they have not taken a payment, agree they will take £60 which more then covers both payments.

16/3/2013 Payment of £60 made to Santander Cards, letter from CEO's office confirming this.

16/3/2013 Default notice issued for £19.28 which apparently is acceptable despite recieving the payment.

I had to take in my birth certificate and drivers licence to work, as one of the TLs refused to accept I am female.. apparently I have a mans name (?) and the whole wears skirts thing is just not his idea of masculine!!

No word frmo the CEOs office, but I AM making a complaint to the Ombudsman about this.
