After saying they would cancel any charges for Sept/Oct I should have known.... they fibbed!!!
This morning I got a default Notice from Abbey for £163 dated 15/09 saying they will default me 14 days after after serving their letter.
I've emailed CEO (osorio) and customer services complaining and referring them back to their letter wiping the charges off and my letter which placed the account in dispute. Posted it to collections as well but thought I should email due to postal strikes.
