    Unarranged Borrowing Fee- Name Change

    We are changing the name to "Maintenance Fee" with effect from August 10th 2007. NatWest website will be updated from 18th September 2007.



    My guide will need to be changed AGAIN. Please natwest change the UNPAID name and I will have the full T Shirt and VIDEO

      The answer is that the bank have been working for ages on doing this. Did you not know that CARD MISUSE which sounds big and scarey changed to Guaranteed Card Payment Fee(sounds like a service doesn;t it? So UNARRANGED BORROWING FEE(naughty negatively naughty) to Maintenance Charge(sounds like a service). To me, the OFT case has given banks carte blanche to change the names so that when you can claim they will have a strong argument for the service element.


      SO UNPAID ITEMS??? Any clues for a softer name?
