Hi everyone got home late last night to what looks like a minefield,I have posted a new thread last night under the natwest claim thread telling you all that has happened inthe 8 days I was away I would appreciate your input on that one please.
To the job in hand I posted this thread also last night under won by default its really long I dont know what went wrong it just disapeared from the forum.
To start at the beginning. Before I found any sites to do with charges ppis ect. I was pushed towards the Martin Lewis site,I watched his video explaining doing it on line and thought that looks easy enough? as he said "just sit back and wait" I had writen to natwest saying I thought they had misold me a a PPI. they said no! I then wrot e back with LBA asking them to pay me £1589.49 in premiums I had paid also 8% interest £127.15 and compensation to be negotiated. They wrote back saying no but they would cancel the policy but still charge me £21.02 for the remainder of the loan. ( Nattie kindly explained this to me ) Anyway I got mad and filed on line asking for the full amount of the ppi £3675.00 The poc read like this

On 2nd September 2004 I was misold a PPI. wereas being self employed the only claim you could make was if you became bankrupt.You could not claim for sickness,accident or becoming unemployed. The Bank knew I was self employeed they just added the cover to the loan but did not explain the details. Had I been told the details I would not have accepted the PPI. When I tried to cancel the policy they told meI could not cancel.On March 1st 2004 they changed there minds and said I could cancel the policy,they refused to refund the cost of the cover. The cost of the cover was £54.81 per month When they canceled the policy they still charged me £21.02 per month for the balance of the loan.
That is it exactly as I laid it out on the claim form.
In the box Claimant I gave them name address ect
In the box address for sending documents and payments ( if different)
I again gave all my details again and my bank account number. Why I did this I dont know??????????

1st Defendant Nastywest / second Blank

then the poc amount claimed £3675 plus £120 court fee.
As you all know I got Judgement for default which was granted I wrote to Nastywest asking for payment. Now
When I got home a letter from Northampton Court.

Please note REURNED JUDGEMENT REGISTRATION THEY NEED TO QUERY A PARTICULAR ASPECT OF INFORMATION YOU HAVE SUPPLED. if there are any amendments to the defendants name please file an n244 and a fee £35
Please refer to back page of the form. This gives the reason why we are unable to register the judgement if the Judgement cannot be registered you will be unale to enforce it.

On the back of the form
We are unable to register two firms Please advise wether judgement relates to

a) Joint Judgment against two firms.
b) One Firm name.
c) Second Firm is part of the address.
d) Other please specify.

Also sent is a guidance for completing N244.

That is it gang I am at a loss and I am away again Tuesday would appreciate your brainy heads on this.

You need to try and keep the issues seperate.


1) The judgement request

- basically you seem to have put two defendants addresses and this needs clarifying on the N244 form.

Quite straightforward but it will cost £35 and we will need to know exactly what you put on the original claim form in both defendants name boxes.



2) The PPI Claim.

I dont understand where youare in this - you obviously need to amend your claim. What letters have you had from the court about this ?

No not sorted as yet only just came in been out all day its like this evertime I get home trying to catch up with everything and see everyone kids,grandkids ect. Cook dinner now then cary on trying toget sorted.

Are you ok Al,
people are looking at your claims, I think you have just confused us all.
It's a very serious thing what you are taking on and you have to get it spot on, we all know they have taken our money unlawfully. If you do not get things just right then you will make it very tough for yourself.
If you have made a mistake on your claims things can be put right, it will just take a little longer to sort out.
Try and give all the info that is asked for on here and you will be helped, I know you are busy, but if you want to see this through and win it's the only way. Enaid x

Hi Enaid there are 3 claims two for charges the other for ppi to explain the ppi is the one I got a judgement by default for and the court wrote to me they needed to query a particular aspect before they could apply the judgement. I have been try ing to e.mail this to Ame with no succes the address I have isxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it keeps getting returned,

The claim on my accout is the one I did totally on this site that s the one the bank made an offer on and I declined then today a Defence from Cobbetts landed on the door step for this one .

The other charges claim is our Joint account that is the one I typed out the defence from Cobbetts for Ame and I have had a court date for they want all the information within 21 days and I am away again tuesday.
