1st. Crudite is known for issuing SD's as a first line debt collection strategy often with no intention of following this through to petition
Your property is jointly owned and if there are no other realisable assets of significant value to satisfy creditors ( all of your existing creditors would have to be treated equally) a Stat Demand is pointless, it has been said that "Bankruptcy is the is the ultimate form of debt collection and should only be used if all other methods ( of debt collection) have been exhausted.
This is a basis for getting the SD set aside.
