Hi, not sure how these forums work as its my first time on here. Anyway here goes, my problem is I received a statutory demand from Connaught/First credit and I replied to them asking for a true copy of CCA and submitted a £1 postal order. They replied within the 12 days saying they would forward all relevant documentation when they compile it all together. After 6 months I eventually received this week a large selection of statements and an unsigned credit card agreement. All this is very new to me and im not sure what to do next. If anybody has some info for guidance please help.

Re: Consumer Credit Act 1974 Basic Request for Original Copy of Agreement
Hi harveypat
As a fairly new member myself I just wanted to say hello and to say that this is an amazing site for finding and getting help and support.
I think that because you have added your new post in the middle of my threads you may get lost in them and therefore not be seen by those who can help you.
When I first joined, I introduced myself on the sites welcome page initially and then started a new thread in the relevant forum (you can find those on the home page). If I have given you the incorrect info apologies, I am sure someone more experienced will be along soon to guide you.
Good luck
Totrusting.

What happened with the Statutory Demand - did you get it set aside, or did First Credit just agree to hold off on the bankruptcy petition until they had provided documents ? Have they indicated their next move ?
'' There is no expiry period for a statutory demand. However, if more than 4 months has passed since you served the demand, you will need to explain to the court why you have delayed in presenting a bankruptcy petition. If the delay is too long, you may have to serve a fresh statutory demand. ''
Could you upload, or email me, a copy of the credit agreement you have received please. admin@legalbeagles.info#staysafestayhome
Any support I provide is offered without liability, if you are unsure please seek professional legal guidance.
