    Hi
Could anyone let me know on what points of law I could ask the Judge to dismiss the bankruptcy. In Court on Friday.

All I have up to now is that I did not receive all the letters they say they sent me and I did not receive any of the phone calls that they stated they have made. The 2 numbers which they said they "attempted" to ring but were 'dead' numbers are not dead, they are valid and working (previous places of employment). I feel that the action is disproportionate to the debt (forced bankruptcy for £2,400), and that they have refused all offers made up to now - latest being £90:00 perr month.

    Is there anything else?

I think we need more info here.

I do not think the above points have any real prospect of success, so its important that we look at the underlying issues here.

Hello Again Jazzhands. :yoid is this the same issue you posted on the thread title ‘ In Court tomorrow! Bankruptcy for a£2.4k Debt 1st Credit’. Did Celestine call the creditor?

The Case was adjourned 2 weeks ago as the Judge was not satisifed that the Creditors "attempts" at contacting me by telephone. She asked them to provide evidence within 7 days of what numbers they rang and what happened when they rang them.

Hi Jazzhands, just me bumping you up to the top of the pile again; I have no shame!!!!!! Seriously though I do know you have been through it and someone will help, I promise.
I don’t know how to link this to your other post to save you having to tell the whole story again but one of the clever chaps might be able to do that.
              Sit tight. xx

Sorry Reluctant I was hesitant in replying as I did not want my name against this again as it seems to be preventing anyone from reading it!
Yep it is the same case.

                          Good Luck.

Try and sell all your personal valuables to your relatives or have them take them as security against the money they may loan you to help put money up front as you try and ward off the Bankruptcy.

Sorry jazzhands but I did all I could. I will try and find as much info as I can on other sites and keep you posted. I do not know if you are a member of any of the other help sites?
I know that anticipation is worse than the operation. You will get through tomorrow and as with all things in life it may not turn out as bad as you fear. I am sorry also that I could not link up all your threads so that people could get a full history of this case.
Please private message me at any time if you are fretting. I may be no help legally but I do care.
Just think positively and ‘fight the good fight’
