  • Eviction Date what are our options to prevent this?

We have been sent an eviction date however we have written to the solicitors acting on behalf of the mortgage company offering a payment plan to repay the debt. If they do not accept our offer what are our alternatives. This is our family home and we don't want to lose it! It just seems going from bad to worse! so much for annus horribilis.

I think we need a little bit more information to go on.

Have you been to court ?

Any support I provide is offered without liability, if you are unsure please seek professional legal guidance.

I fully agree with Amethyst above, this is a complicated issue and much more information is required.

In the absence of more details about your situation, the one thing we can do is direct your attention to the Shelter website, which has lots of useful resources: http://england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice/repossession

Take a look at the link above and then come back with your questions and/or answers.
