Law firm I was paying Stat Demand to has been closed by SRA?!

    Hi

    I meant to post an update but got sidetracked by one thing or another...

    I rang the intervening agent and they were basically a waste of time. They explained that they were taking over the original files until a replacement solicitor was found and that I should contact the original creditor as not to "prejudice myself". What does that actually mean?

    I have been looking for some sort of letter template I can use to contact the original creditor. What should I do next?
