it says on the letter that the client is devon and cornwall. I have tried finding a number for them but have no idea what number it could be.

Not a lot as the online Register is usually out of date. The only way to find out is to ask him.

That's an amalgamation of all the Courts for admin purposes. What you will need is the Court where the case was heard and I would hazard a guess as that being your local Magistrates Court - try them first.

            Hi Gemma,

Clever Clogs has PMed me about this.

Where are you in the Devon & Cornwall area, please?

Cloggy is absolutely right that Capita have obtained a conviction by not following the correct procedures. This means the legality of the conviction is open to question. However, what is more serious is that your rights under Article 6, European Convention on Human Rights, which confer on you the right to a fair hearing and which are inalienable (cannot be taken away from you) and inviolate (must not be breached), appear to have been breached. It is, therefore, possible that Capita has acted unlawfully.

Marstons are, as usual, displaying their amazing talent for talking out of their rectums. If you are pregnant, they are required to inform the court immediately as you are classed as vulnerable. Did CAB ask to which address the summons, fine order, Further Steps Notice and other correspondence were sent? The reason I ask this is because Capita have been caught securing prosecutions by tendering previous addresses to the courts. A number of TVL goons are currently serving community or custodial sentences for fraud and perverting the course of justice after being caught engaging in this insidious practice.

Do you know which magistrates court is involved please?

              Re: bailiff issues

Bear in mind that a Crapita goon is a self employed salesperson, they have no right to enter anyone's home, and anything said on the doorstep to one of these egregious bent, obnoxious individuals will be twisted into a confession so that even someone with no TV will be and some have been convicted. They will try to convict people with a valid license also if their quota is below par

Your premises is unlicensed, I don't have a TV, goon adds License to the statement so it reads I don't have a TV License, Crapita goes for prosecution, tame magistrates think the sun sines from crapita's anus, bingo wrongful conviction. This is becoming too common; especially as they neglect to send summonses to these people who don't even need a TV license First they know is as you did when the Marstons winker arrived.

You should inform the court immediately that you are pregnant and get that Stat dec as suggested done

It will normally be the court for the area in which you live, in your case, Exeter Magistrates Court. First thing tomorrow morning, ring the court and ask to speak to the Court Manager. Explain the situation to them. You must inform them about your pregnancy and your history of depression. It is very likely they will ask you to obtain a letter from your GP and/or midwife to confirm the pregnancy and depression.

Some court staff are very helpful, whilst others are not so helpful. If the Court Manager proves to be the latter, you will then need to email the Area Enforcement Team, who are at a higher level and based at Plymouth Magistrates Court. If you have to go down this route, post up and an email address for the Area Enforcement Team will be provided.

As soon as you possibly can take photocopies of your NHS Maternity Pack, draw a cover note for Marston (do not forget to put their case reference number) for the attention of the Customer Care Department at Marston and fax it to 01992 803001.

Done that put it in a large envelope and send it recorded delivery to:

The Black rat (Rattus rattus) is a common (hence the accusation of being Pleb) long-tailed rodent of the genus Rattus (rats) in the subfamily Murinae (murine rodents). The species originated in tropical Asia and spread through the Near East in Roman times (another thing that we ought to thanks the Romans for, besides roads, aqueducts and public toilets) before reaching Europe by the 1st century and spreading with Europeans across the world.

He probably could Wales, but his eyes are clouded by greed and the fact that he feels so self important collecting unpaid fines from all those hardened TV License criminals, oops people who may have been stitched up by a Crapita goon and may not even need a TV License.

The fact there is a visible baby bump, and their own rules say don't enforce will matter not to Mr Bailiff, he wants his beer tokens.

If Marstons know you are pregnant, they should not be making these threats. Exeter Magistrates Court is following correct procedure by requesting a letter from your GP. However, as you knew nothing of any impending prosecution or any hearing, they should have suspended or recalled the distress warrant as soon as they were informed of this. There is case law governing magistrates court distress warrants, known, informally, as the Macrae Case and the Purnell Case, respectively.

Yes. A midwife is a healthcare professional. Get that actioned asap. Has the court explained why they have not suspended the warrant, knowing there is a question mark over the conviction?
